Anne Hathaway said of her experience performing The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, “It’s such a wonderful book and I was so happy to be a part of bringing it to life. There are a lot of great voices in it. The more fun you have with it, the sillier and the more free you get with it, the better it is because it’s a story that can handle it. It’s amazing to be able to discover something new about something you feel you know so well.”
The A-List Collection features an unparalleled roster of the world’s most celebrated actors narrating distinguished works of literature that each star helped select. Additional audio performances in the series will include such talents as:
- Annette Bening (Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf)
- Colin Firth (The End of the Affair by Graham Greene)
- Dustin Hoffman (Being There by Jerzy Kosinski)
- Hilary Swank (Pack of Two by Caroline Knapp)
- Jennifer Connelly (The Sheltering Sky by Paul Bowles)
- Kim Basinger (The Awakening by Kate Chopin)
