UIUSD completely eliminates time-consuming driver management

Today, Big Bang LLC announced the official release of the Universal Imaging Utility System Deploy Plug-in (UIUSD) for Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager. This new product from Big Bang completely automates driver management within SCCM, and will allow SCCM admins to easily advertise a single UIUSD-configured Task Sequence to any collection of PCs regardless of manufacturer or model.

The UIUSD integrates smoothly and safely with the SCCM console through Microsoft’s Operating System Deployment Task Sequence methodology and completely eliminates the need for SCCM administrators to locate, manage, and package driver files. A fully vetted and updated driver database is incorporated into a UIUSD specific Task Sequence, and along with a real-time Discovery Tool, ascertains the onboard hardware of the recipient machine, and installs only the most appropriate driver. The driver database is updated regularly and will automatically update the UIUSD installation. Once a Task Sequence is created with the UIUSD Machine Configuration Step, it can be advertised to any collection of laptops or desktops regardless of manufacturer.
