Numerix (www.numerix.com), the leading provider of cross-asset analytics for derivatives valuations and risk management, its strategic partner Microsoft and the Professional Risk Managers' International Association (PRMIA), today unveiled their plans to host a series of executive industry forums focused on CVA (Credit Value Adjustment). These global forums will bring together industry leaders to discuss the trading, quantitative and technological challenges banks face in CVA implementation for both vanilla and exotic derivatives under the Basel III framework.

The CVA Roadshow kicked-off with a successful event at New York City’s Harvard Club on April 10 with over 100 industry professionals in attendance. In June additional events will be hosted in Milan, Frankfurt, Vienna and Paris, with forthcoming forums scheduled for Fall 2012 in several additional locations including Beijing and London.

“As the market leader in the cross-asset analytics space, we consider it our responsibility to help the industry fully understand the broad-reaching implications of CVA, as well as practical implementation solutions,” said Steve O’Hanlon, President & COO of Numerix. “We’re proud of the initiative we’ve taken alongside Microsoft and PRMIA with regard to this important and complex regulatory requirement. With the Basel III CVA deadline fast approaching, there’s no better time to launch a thought-provoking event series which provides actionable insights on CVA best practice from the regulatory, quantitative, trading, and technology perspectives.”
