With more than 30 years of experience processing payments, Meracord is a widely respected leader in the industries it serves which have expanded to include loan modifications, foreclosure defense, rental contracts, legal payment programs and many other contract payment related services. An executive with more than 20 years of experience in developing strategic business solutions for clients, Byerley brings to Meracord an extensive background in managing successful financial service companies, improving business operations and developing market opportunities. As COO, Byerley will be responsible for strategic operations and the design of new business processes to operationally support growth objectives and provide a higher level of service to clients and customers.

Prior to joining Meracord, Byerley led Product Management at TSYS. In this role, he provided strategic vision to identify gaps in product offerings and evaluated market opportunities. In 2007, Byerley founded and served as President of Byerley and Associates, Inc., a management consulting services company, specializing in assisting clients with the evaluation of markets, products and operations. In this role, Byerley provided industry expertise to leading consulting and investment firms, such as Bank of America and The Boston Consulting Group. Byerley’s accomplishments also include working as the Sr. Vice President of First Data Corporation and as the Sr. Vice President of UMB Bank. In the past he has served as a Board Member for numerous local and national not of profit organizations. He currently serves as a member of the Executive Advisory Board to the Wharton School of Business, the University of Pennsylvania.

Byerley holds a Master of Arts Degree in Business from Webster University. In 2003, he completed post graduate work at the University of Pennsylvania, receiving an Executive Certificate in Product Innovation and Marketing from the Wharton School of Business. He is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
