Avectra Executives to Attend ASAE Annual 2012
Avectra executives to address advanced social CRM and member engagement
McLean, VA (PRWEB) August 09, 2012
Avectra, developer of web-based Social Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) solutions for associations, not-for-profits and fundraisers, today announced that it will participate in the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) Annual Meeting & Expo. The event runs August 11-14, 2012, at the Dallas Convention Center, Dallas.
“ASAE Annual offers a valuable opportunity for this community to connect and share best practices,” said Richard Davis, Chairman & CEO of Avectra. “We’re pleased to attend again this year to support our mission of providing solutions to association executives that bridge membership management with social media to increase the ability to connect with potential members, automate member engagement and cultivate meaningful relationships with their community. These are among the hottest topics for associations these days and our team looks forward to some healthy dialogue on these industry trends.”
In the session "Playing the Numbers: What Does Scoring Member Engagement Really Tell Us?" on Tuesday, August 14, at 9 a.m., Avectra product and community manager Ben Martin will be joined by clients and longtime association community managers Nina Goldman, Director, Sales and Member Organization Services at American Council of Engineering Companies, and Thomas Nordby, AVP Business Operations, National Defense Industrial Association. The group will demonstrate how and why associations should begin objectively measuring membership engagement. Those in attendance will learn how to identify and stimulate under-engaged members using current AMS data.
Avectra VP of Marketing Patrick Dorsey will address the topic "Advanced Social CRM: Avoid Social Data Silos" on Tuesday, August 14, at 10:45 a.m. Joined by Avectra client David DeLorenzo, CTO, National League of Cities, Dorsey will share effective practices for storing and using social data about members to maximize ROI. Associations have begun tracking social media information about members: Twitter handles, Facebook addresses, and LinkedIn profiles. Many associations know how they want to use such revealing data, yet few understand how to effectively manage the process.
Avectra will provide demonstrations of Avectra Social CRM at its booth (#245). With Avectra Social CRM, associations can streamline membership management, improve member retention, optimize emarketing, events and ecommerce, identify the most valuable members, and engage community members with social media.
The 2012 ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition is open to association professionals, federal government employees, higher education educators, independent consultants, corporate meeting planners, and attorneys. For further details, visit asaeannualmeeting.org.
Running concurrent with ASAE Annual is the 2012 AMC Community Conference, of which Avectra is a sponsor. The AMC Conference takes place on August 11, 2012, at the Omni Dallas Hotel, Dallas, TX.
