Andrew Hawley, of Vintage Rock Posters, an avid buyer of original 1960's vintage boxing style rock n roll concert posters announces his search for 1965 Rolling Stones Greensboro North Carolina Coliseum concert posters. According to Hawley, “The Greensboro show was one of three concerts the Stones did in North Carolina during November in 1965. The other two concerts happened at the Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh and the Charlotte Coliseum in Charlotte. The Carolina venues were part of the Stones’ second tour of the U.S.”

Hawley continues, “The Globe Poster Company of Baltimore, Maryland printed the posters for this leg of the tour. The posters were made of thick cardboard. They were oversized and featured a photo of the Stones surrounded by some of their latest hits such as Satisfaction. Globe used bright neon colors to brighten the poster and make it noticeable to patrons walking by barber shops; department and record stores where these posters were hung. This poster our blank was also used for the Stones concerts in New Haven, Knoxville, Dallas, and Ft Worth. The Stones played the Fort Worth and Dallas concerts on the same day.”

If you have a 1965 Rolling Stones boxing style Greensboro, Raleigh or Charlotte, North Carolina concert poster or any other 1963-1966 Rolling Stones concert poster, Hawley is willing to pay $5,000 cash for each poster. Please call 310-346-1965 or email andrew (at) vintageconcertposterbuyer.com.
