LifeStorage's first car show benefits Northern Illinois Food Bank.

Addison, IL (PRWEB) August 29, 2013

LifeStorage of Addison will be hosting their First Annual Car Show on Saturday, August 31, which will be an event for the whole family to enjoy at the Addison self storage location.

“We are excited to bring our neighbors together for an enjoyable family-friendly event,” said Jon Burns, storage manager for LifeStorage of Addison.

The Car Show, which will take place from 9:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m., will include food and refreshments, raffles and prizes for attendees; parking is free. Some of the raffles and prizes include two $25 gift certificates from Hooters restaurant, 20 free admission passes for Mecum Auctions’ October show in Schaumburg on October 10-12, and a 5x10 storage unit for two months at no cost.

The Car Show will also have free dash plaques for the first 100 cars that show up. All proceeds from the show will be donated to the Northern Illinois Food Bank.

“We are looking to not only let the community know about our wonderful facility; which offers state-of-the-art security, a plethora of different-sized climate-control storage units to fit any and all needs, as well as office suite rentals and car/semi-truck parking; but also to help people unload some of their old items they might not need any longer,” Burns said.

LifeStorage of Addison is located at 426 S. Westgate Street in Addison, IL.
