This Virtual Strategy Magazine (“VSM”) Roundtable Question Generation Promotion (the “Promotion”) is designed to promote the submission of timely, interesting and/or thought provoking questions to be used at our event. Prizes will be awarded to those individuals who submit the best entries as determined by VSM in accordance with these rules. Entry in the Promotion constitutes your acceptance of these rules. The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 16 years old at the time of entry and who are registered members of VSM. Employees and agents of VSM (the “Sponsor”) of the Promotion and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. To enter, visit the Promotion website at www.virtual-strategy.com/en/roundtable and follow the instructions to submit a question for consideration prior to the commencement of the event. All entries must be in English.
All entries submitted must represent the original work of the entrant, may not have been previously published or sold, and may not contain any material which in the sole discretion of Sponsor is obscene, profane, or improper. Each entrant agrees not to submit any entry that (1) infringes any third-party proprietary, intellectual property, industrial property, personal rights or other rights, including without limitation, copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or confidentiality obligation; or (2) otherwise violates applicable law. Entrant expressly gives the Sponsor permission to read aloud the question and all information submitted with the question, including the full name of the Entrant, if submitted. However, VSM will not read aloud the email address of the entrant for security and privacy reasons. If the same or substantially similar question, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion is submitted by multiple entrants, only the first submission of that question will be judged. Entrants agree to comply with and be bound by the decisions of the judges at VSM, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that it believes in its sole and unfettered discretion infringes upon or violates the rights of any third party or otherwise does not comply with these rules.
A prize, as identified at www.virtual-strategy.com/en/roundtable, will be awarded to the first entrant of a question selected for use during the roundtable event up to the number of prizes dedicated to the Promotion as indicated at www.virtual-strategy.com/en/roundtable. ALL TAXES AND ANY APPLICABLE WITHOLDING AND REPORTING REQUIREMENTS ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNERS. Any unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Any potential winner who cannot be contacted by email within seven (7) days of attempted first notification will forfeit his or her prize. Prizes are sent by U.S. mail only to addressees within the United States.
The interpretation of these rules, and the rights and obligations of the parties in connection with or arising out of this Promotion, shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire without regard to its conflicts of laws provisions. Any cause of action regarding same shall be exclusively brought in New Hampshire at Hillsborough County Superior Court, Northern District. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Promotion or in the announcement of the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission. If, for any reason, the roundtable is not conducted, including because of technical failures, or any other causes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.
