VMworld Europe: First Keynote
The first keynote of VMworld Europe 2009 in Cannes was begun by Maurizio Carli, new General Manager for EMEA, who from there on was the master of ceremonies. He gave us encouraging news, for the times we are living now, which was very much appreciated, and then welcomed VMware CEO Paul Maritz to the stage.

This is without a doubt the best session I attended. Not only because of the content, but because it is very much in line with what Paul Maritz told us during his keynote.
VMworld Europe: Second Keynote - Part I
The second keynote at VMworld 2009 was presented by Stephen Herrod, VMware CTO and Senior Vice President R&D. Mr. Herrod emphasized what Paul Maritz said at his keynote: the three main initiatives, VDC-OS (Virtual DataCenter OS), vCloud and vClient.
VMworld Europe: Second Keynote - Part II
The second part of Mr. Herrod´s keynote focused on the vCloud initiative and the “Cloud as a Service.”
