In a cluster with three VSAs, SAN/IQ
automatically allocates three times the space discovered in the VSA with the
least amount of DAS as the total capacity of the cluster. When a logical disk
volume—F1—is created, SAN/IQ assigns each VSA one third of the volume. With two-way
replication, each VSA also copies its section to the next node. As a result,
any node can fail without affecting the volume's availability in the cluster.
