Using StoneFusion's management GUI, VSM Labs was able to invoke a rich collection of storage manage utilities. Among these utilities are a number of high-availability tools to create copies and maintain mirror images of volumes. Within a small VI environment, system administrators can also utilize these tools in conjunction with the basic VI client software to provide simple VM template management capabilities that would normally require an additional server running the VMware Virtual Center.
