David Bieneman launched Vizioncore Inc. in 2002 as a software development company focused on enhancing Citrix Systems. esxRanger Professional
esxRanger Professional provides both image-level hot backups simply and easily, while the virtual machine is still running. Unlike agents, esxRanger Professional runs outside the guest OS, and can be integrated with VMware VirtualCenter. Integration with VMware Consolidated Backup (VCB) to offload backups from the host, esxRanger will perform the highest speed backups available while reducing the disk space needed for backups by leveraging a differential engine. esxRanger is also VMotion™ aware and will follow virtual machines to perform regularly scheduled backups even after they have moved. Packaged with a file-level restore utility and coupled with the full image restore functionality, esxRanger is a complete backup recovery solution built for virtualization. Because esxRanger Professional offers an easy-to-use Windows-based GUI and eliminates scripting, IT administrators do not require specialized knowledge to deploy a reliable backup strategy. esxRanger also comes in a Standard Edition.
