Erik Josowitz
Vice President, Marketing
Erik is responsible for all Surgient product and marketing strategies and activities worldwide. Previously Erik was Vice President of Product Marketing at SoloMio, a premier provider of value-added services software to mobile telecommunications operators acquired by Openwave. Prior to SoloMio, Erik was a member of the founding management team at Vignette Corporation, and served as Vice President, Product Marketing and Vice President, Corporate Strategy during his five years with the company. During this time Erik participated in Vignette's growth from a private company closing its first product sale to a successful public company with over $300 million in annual revenue. As product marketing lead, Erik was responsible for the first three releases of Vignette's award-winning StoryServer and Syndication Server products. In addition Erik helped guide Vignette's acquisitions of DataSage, Engine 5, Diffusion and OnDisplay and establish strategic relationships with Oracle, Ariba, Sun and Accenture. Erik holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Texas at Austin.
