Ariel Cohen - CTO of Xsigo Systems

Ariel Cohen is the CTO of Xsigo Systems. Prior to joining Xsigo Systems, Dr. Cohen was Principal Scientist and Architect at Topspin Communications where he focused on RDMA-based solutions for virtual I/O, high-performance computing, and databases. Before that, he was the Director of Network Software Research at Bell Labs where he focused on web caching, layer 4-7 switching and load balancing.  Dr. Cohen holds a BS in Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and both an MS and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego. He is the author of research papers in the areas of storage systems for multimedia, web switching, and RDMA-based protocols, and holds several patents in these areas.
