Dan Sokol - CEO of DISCUS Software

Dan Z. Sokol is the CEO of DISCUS Software. He is a leading expert in complex information technology projects for manufacturing companies and has managed over forty computer integration projects for automotive and aerospace companies such as General Motors and Lockheed. He was the Principal Investigator for research on behalf of the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the National Science Foundation. Dan is also a managing partner of Renaissance Services and the founder and former CEO of Cohesia Corporation, where he won the Ohio Edison Award for an emerging technology company. He was also a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. Dan received a patent that encompasses the technology for incorporating semantic logic into documents. He has published over thirty technical papers and he was recently awarded the Society of Automotive Engineers Excellence in Presentation Award. His paper on product management in the supply chain was included in the SAE International Journal of Aerospace.
