Robin Budd - VP of Engineering at Likewise

Robin Budd brings more than 15 years of software development experience, most recently as principal of Redpoint Consulting. Previously, she has served in leadership roles at Kiha Software (where she was co-founder), Vulcan Inc. and EMC. As one of the founding members of Kiha, Robin was instrumental in building the team and managed all aspects of Kiha’s operations. As general manager of FlipStart at Vulcan Inc., Robin led all aspects of the development, manufacturing, sales and marketing of the FlipStart ultra-mobile computer. Her prior experience includes three years as consulting design engineer at EMC, where she worked in the Advanced Technologies Group, and as liaison to Microsoft.

Robin holds a degree in Physics from the University of Washington. She holds six patents in the areas of storage systems and mail delivery to mobile devices, with 10 additional patents pending.
